THERAPEUTIC MASSAGE

Therapeutic Massage

Time Dur: 60minutes $60.00

Therapeutic Massage has grown to be one of the most popular forms of wellness massage in Australia.

A therapeutic massage relaxes the body and assists the wellness process by improving blood circulation. Massage works by soothing soft tissue and encouraging relaxation through soft tissue manipulation. The body responds by quietening when experiencing a safe touch. The heart and breath rate slows, blood pressure goes down, stress hormones decrease and the body relaxes, producing a state of calm and tranquility.
Massage is perhaps one of the oldest natural healing traditions practiced across many cultures dating back thousands of years. All forms of massage are hugely beneficial and therapeutic; however, the term therapeutic is more commonly used to differentiate between a gentle relaxation massage and a therapeutic or remedial massage which will target specific areas to relieve knots or tension using more pressure and cross-fibre techniques.  There are huge benefits to receiving a regular massage. Studies have demonstrated massage is effective in reducing stress, pain and muscle tension, and may also benefit many other ailments from anxiety, digestive problems, headaches, nerve pain, sports injuries, strains and much more.

When muscles are tight and are contracted, you may experience muscle spasms as the nerves around these muscles may become compressed. A deeply relaxing therapeutic massage provides relief by relaxing the muscles so the nerves no longer become compressed.

My therapeutic massage is a combination of many modalities: Swedish, Therapeutic, Remedial, Bowen, Reflexology, Aromatherapy. I have taken all the “best” bits so your treatment is not only a unique experience you will not experience anywhere else. My therapeutic massage is  beneficial to your well being, it will aid your recovery from injuries and help to boost your immune system by improving lymphatic circulation and increasing oxygen levels in your cells.
